new phone

many of you are aware of the recent death of my phone. this caused me great upset bc i was no longer able to see/send text messages. well a new phone has opened a new chapter in my life. no, its not as fancy as my old phone...it actually sucks quite a bit...and theres no camera so unfortunately pics on my blog will now be less directly from me. we made stick figures.

reference letter part deux

basically one of my reference letters didnt make it to CCBC. if you know the story behind this you would understand why im annoyed. but i didnt let it get to me! matt wrote the last of my refrence letters sorta spur of the moment. it was mailed today. i miss jesse and devan already.

i havent blogged in a few days...

saturday night was full of rub-on tattoos, foam bears, and scaring the other drivers with the "to mas" mask heidi found in the park.
after family dinner, devan kelly mat and i camped in the jemez. sorry but i cant really go into detail what all happened in there, but rest assured it was fun. last night an amazing game of ultimate frisbee went down followed by another night under the stars, but just in the sandias. all of this was followed by a bowl of honey comb.

since the only people that get on my blog are my mother and i, we both need to keep tabs on what im doing, i felt like this could be the place i let go all of my secrets. well an opportunity has arisen for me to join a christian band. since i was going to go to a bible college to learn how to lead worship, this struck a chord to my fancy. the band is ives and if things work out, i might delay my secondary education in order to become a permanent member. everyone that knows this information is very supportive and have been thoughtfully praying over this with me. no final decision has been made regarding my future yet, but i have been asked to play on their west coast tour in july. heck yes im going to do it!
